I drove Robbie mid-way to his mother's house on Thursday night, where his brother picked him up and drove the rest of the way. He picked up his kids on Friday and had them through the weekend, so that they could do Easter weekend - although that is actually next week.
While Robbie was away, I worked most of the time... had church on Sunday morning... finished the novel I was reading... explored a love for bluegrass music... and generally did very little otherwise.
While it had rained much of the weekend, even up until after church today, the sky opened up and made for a beautiful drive to the country today. I was able to spend a few hours at his mom's with the kids, before driving them back home, and returning us back to the St. Louis area this evening. It's been a long day... at least the country scenery and bluegrass music made for an ambient afternoon. Great seeing the kids.
