At this point, we've lived in the St. Louis area for approximately 9 months. We still own a house in the New Orleans area that is on the market, and are renting a 3-story townhouse until our house has sold. Well, now that we have a baby on the way, we're not as excited about having three floors to continue to climb throughout the day. We're also ready for a more permanent (and a little more remote) house towards the country. Maybe it is nesting, but we're a bit anxious to begin seriously searching for our next house, where we see ourselves raising this child.
So, on the plus side, we have a couple coming to take a second look at our house tomorrow evening. That sounds more promising than anything I'd heard in several months. Now that we're nearing the end of the first trimester, we can feel the clock ticking. We know we need to have moved into something more permanent by then.
